Great white shark left with giant bite mark across head after mating

Eye-opening footage shows the moment a great white shark was left with giant bite mark across it’s head after mating.

Filmer Jalil Najafov was underwater when she found a shark with “mating scars” that appear on “female sharks bodies caused by the males holding onto them”.

Najafov captioned the footage: “These scars are mostly deeper cuts and punctures, indicating a more forceful motivation such as coercive mating from the male’s side.”
