Crystal Palace will begin the new Premier League season with optimism after Alan Pardew arrived mid-season to lift the club from the relegation zone to finish 2014/15 in 10th.

With Pardew firmly believing that the Eagles can secure a top-half finish - and who knows, maybe even European qualification - fans at Selhurst Park are looking forward to the 2015/16 campaign and the drama that it has in store.

Alan Pardew will have to wait until 30 April to return to St James' Park and former club Newcastle.
