Everton have been one of the form teams in the country so far, winning all six of their matches in all competitions and making it three from three last weekend, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his goalscoring run before netting a hat-trick in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham.
Ancelotti does have a number of injury concerns on his hands though, including summer signing Allan, and Brighton will fancy their chances of an upset after resting the bulk of their squad during the week. Follow the live updates below.
12 mins: De Bruyne picks up a sloppy pass from Meslier and runs into the box. He shoots but the Leeds centre-backs close him down and block the shot. It goes out for a corner.
The ball comes into the box and Ruben Dias wins the header but puts it wide. Almost a dream debut for City’s new signing.
9 mins: Ferran Torres finds one of those gaps out wide and he waltzes past a defender on the right wing, cuts it back inside and nearly finds Riyad Mahrez.
6 mins: Man City are controlling the play, they’re trying to draw Leeds forward to create space in behind on the wide areas.
3 mins: Sterling takes a shot from outside the box. He tries to curl it into the top corner but sends the ball wide of goal.
City win a free kick that De Bruyne takes. He tries to catch out the goalkeeper and rattles the near post!
Kick off: City start the match with Kevin De Bruyne sending it out to the right. City switch the play and Benjamin Mendy runs into the box. He cuts it back to De Bruyne who finds Phil Foden. Foden lays it off to Kyle Walker and his shot is deflected behind.
The teams are out there now, Man City look focused. Kick off is next…

Man City hand a debut to new £65m defender Ruben Dias who partners Aymeric Laporte at centre-back. Ederson and Phil Foden also come in to the side.
