Note: Jolyon Palmer did not set a time due to damage sustained by his car in Practice 3, he will start the race from pit lane.
Lap 13: Verstappen jumps first as he pits for the medium tyre, which suggests he will try a one stop strategy. Will Mercedes respond, or will they stick to their strategy? Vettel nearly runs into Massa as he tries to pass going into turn four.
Lap 14: Neither Merc stops, with Hamilton's pace still very good as he leads by over four seconds. Verstappen comes out behind Ricciardo, although he's not far behind and that could become an intriguing battle shortly.
Lap 15: Massa pits to finally release Vettel, while Hulkenberg also pits ahead of him in the Force India. That could trigger a lot more stops from the front runners. Sainz meanwhile gets a five-second time penalty.
Lap 17: Alonso pits after having another argument with his engineer. Hamilton pits next lap by, which means he gets rid of the flat-spotted front right that he's been dealing with since the first corner. None of the other front-runners pit, as Hamilton rejoins in fourth.
Lewis Hamilton locks up as he turns into the first corner
Lap 20: Bottas pits after an impressive 20 laps on the super softs. Perez is released, but has the Red Bulls right behind him. Ricciardo is first up, and he's actually racing Rosberg with the gap set to bring the Mercedes out behind the Australian and possibly Verstappen too.
Lap 21: Rosberg pits! Mercedes try to capitalise on the Red Bulls being held up. Raikkonen pits too and they both get away fine. Perez pits to release Ricciardo, but he's a long way behind Rosberg and the German is safe for now. Vettel inherits the lead but hasn't pitted yet, and has Hamilton right behind.
Lap 23: The call comes from Red Bull! Ricciardo moves aside and lets Verstappen through, with the Dutchman the quicker car today.
Lap 24: Bottas gets by Massa to move past his Williams teammate and move up to eighth. Massa now has Perez right behind, and this constructors battle between Williams and Force India really is an even one.
Lap 25: Vettel is still out in front, and he's only about two seconds off passing his teammate providing his pit stop goes according to plan. Perez tries to pass Massa at turn one and the crowd go beserk, but he's outbraked himself and goes off the track to give the place back.
