Note: Jolyon Palmer did not set a time due to damage sustained by his car in Practice 3, he will start the race from pit lane.
Lap 2: Ricciardo does pit at the end of the first lap to get rid of the super softs. Rosberg and Verstappen are under investigation.
Lap 4: Vettel does look a lot slower, and he's got Bottas all over the back of him. Ahead he's got Massa and his teammate Raikkonen, with the Finn up to fifth as a result of Ricciardo's stop. Ricciardo by the way moves up from 17th to 16th, but he's got a lot of work to do. Sainz meanwhile reports a gearbox problem.
Lap 5: It's Bottas who sets the fastest lap off the restart, and in the battle for 12th Magnussen slides up the inside of Button with Gutierrez also in close company.
Lap 7: Ricciardo is making progress already as he moves up to 14th, and next up is Button. He's on the medium tyres and will try to go all the way to the end, although that looks rather impossible right now.
The stewards verdict is in, and it's no further action over the clash between Rosberg and Verstappen.
Lap 8: Hamilton already has a 2.2 second lead over Rosberg, who is struggling with Verstappen right behind him.
Lap 9: Vettel's picked up his pace now and is closing the gap down to Massa, although it's not quite working out how Ferrari will have wanted - again.
Lap 9: Ricciardo repeats his move on Gutierrez to get past Button into turn one and move up to 13th, and he does need to make up ground while he still has the grip of the medium tyres. They're going to trashed if he manages to make the end of the race.
Lap 10: Ricciardo's at it again and gets by Magnussen at turn one to move into 12th. That Red Bull definitely has pace today, but it might be up to Verstappen to rival the Mercs.
