Lap 56: Alonso spins on the restart coming out of the penultimate corner, as he lights up the tyres. He recovers and is behind Button at the back of the field.
15 laps, 21 minutes to go, so it looks like it'll be a timed race. Hamilton leads, Rosberg is second and Verstappen is charging from 16th. He takes three places within two laps!
Lap 59: This is getting tasty, as the next man in Verstappen's sights is his Red Bull teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, with the paid in 10th and 11th. Ahead, Hulkenberg is all over the back of the the Sauber of Nasr.
Lap 60: Verstappen drives around the outside of Ricciardo! Brilliant from the young Dutchman and he quickly makes his way past Kvyat too. We might have a new rainmeister on our hands here. Hulkenberg also gets by Nasr, and the two are on the charge.
Lap 62: Verstappen continues his one-man crusade as he passes Nasr for seventh, while Ricciardo gets by Kvyat to move up to ninth. Gutierrez meanwhile comes in to retire. A bad day for Haas.
Lap 63: I'll tell you who isn't safe. Sebastian Vettel, running in fifth, has Hulkenberg less than two seconds behind and taking a second a lap out of him, with Verstappen closing quickly too. Ricciardo meanwhile takes Nasr around the outside of turn one.
Lap 66: Verstappen makes easy work of Hulkenberg and hs Vettel in touching distance. He has a run down the second straight towards turn four, but Vettel positions his car well and refuses to give in. Verstappen moves to the inside towards the penultimate corner, and Vettel refuses to budge again and gets pushes wide as a result. You know what's coming...
Lap 67: Two corners later, Verstappen passes Sainz for fourth! He has 1.7 seconds between himself and a podium finish!
Lap 69: Sainz is doing his best to fend off Verstappen but you get the idea that the Force India is a sitting duck. Here he comes! He goes around the outside of Perez at the hairpin and sticks with it to take third, and the crowd are roaring him on like he's a native Brazilian!
