Lap 45: A lovely move from Vettel as he slides up the inside of Nasr to take sixth, faking to the outside before selling him the dummy. Button comes back in and ditches the inters for wets, while Rosberg has a moment at the penultimate corner as he runs wide.
Lap 46: Replays show Rosberg's "moment" was much more than that. He was fully on opposite lock and aquaplaning when he caught the rear end and continued on his way.
Lap 48: SAFETY CAR! FELIPE MASSA HAS CRASHED OUT OF HIS FINAL BRAZIL GRAND PRIX!
Lap 49: That's heartbreaking for everyone who wanted to see Massa go out on a high, but he applauds the fans while getting out of his car and is given a standing ovation. He's crashed at that same spot, the final corner, and the Williams is stranded in the middle of the track, closing the pit lane again. That's disastrous for Mercedes, and could see Verstappen inherit the lead if Hamilton and Rosberg have to pit.
Lap 51: There's a silver lining here. The marshals are in tears, the crowd are still cheering, and Massa has walked from the final corner all the way down the pit entry with the Brazilian flag draped around him as they applaud him. A touching moment, this.

Lap 52: This is incredible. There's a race still going on, but all the teams have come out into the pit lane to give Massa a standing ovation as he walks past them, having been greeted by hiss wife and son in the pits.
Umm, the pit lane's just opened...may want to move this one inside.
Lap 54: He's sneaky, that Nico Rosberg. As we cross the line, we pass the mark for full points, and with the championship leader in second, he calls for the race to be stopped. Verstappen is considering pitting for wets, which will wreck his chances of winning. The rain is getting heavier though.
Lap 55: Verstappen pits! Mercedes - and Rosberg - are off the hook here as Red Bull put full wets on.
