Daniel Ricciardo runs through turn one on a very soggy Interlagos track

Lap 17: Replays show Massa clearly passing Gutierrez way before the safety car line, and he looks bang to rights there. Expect a penalty. Meanwhile, Red Bull chief Christian Horner says Ricciardo may have had a puncture. That's not tactical at all...

Pit lane back open. With the track wetter, will anyone get rid of their inters?

Jack de Menezes13 November 2016 16:41

Lap 18: Ricciardo is under investigation for pitting while the entry was closed. Magnussen and Palmer pit to go back to full wets, while Kvyat pits and puts on another set of inters. Strange one that.

Lap 20: Massive crash for Raikkonen on the start-finish straight!

RED FLAG

Jack de Menezes13 November 2016 16:47

Lap 20: Running in third, Raikkonen doesn't even make it to the start-finish line before he gets a horrible tank-slapper on. He spins and glances the outside wall, before spearing back across the track as the rest of the field approach. Verstappen and Hulkenberg have to take evasive action to miss him, as does Vettel behind, and Hulkenberg hits Raikkonen's detached front wing as he passes. Luckily they all miss Raikkonen, and he hops out unscathed, but the race is immediately red flagged and the field come into the pits.
