The hosts took the morning fourballs 3-1 before keeping that advantage in the afternoon foursomes to take what could prove a decisive 10-6 lead into the final day.

What time does it start?
It all gets underway at 7.10am on Saturday morning with the opening fourballs.

Rose & Stenson vs Koepka & Johnson (A/S)
Again Koepka misses the fairway and leaves DJ in the muck. He uses all his might to thwack it out but it's still a long way short of the fairway. Stenson however sent it soaring straight down the middle and Rose leaves him a pin-high putt although it's not as close as he would have liked.
Koepka makes amends though. He lifts it over a corner of rough with his lob wedge and it's halved with pars.
Poulter & McIlroy (2UP) vs Spieth & Thomas
McIlroy holes a great putt for the half after Poulter overcooked his bunker shot on three. But now McIlroy has hit a horrible boomerang slice off the next tee. You couldn't even see that with binoculars. Poulter is now taking a provisional.

Garcia & Noren vs Watson & Simpson (1UP)
Finally something happens for the Europeans who've really been struggling this afternoon. It's a gift though after Watson stabs a short putt wide leaving Noren to stroke it home. Back to one.
Poulter & McIlroy (2UP) vs Spieth & Thomas
After a lengthy excavation McIlroy has finally found his ball but it's unplayable so now Poulter has to walk all the way back to the tee. His drive is good but McIlroy's errant again. His approach draws into the bunker and they are there for four. Their lead will inevitably go back to one.
Garcia & Noren vs Watson & Simpson (1UP)
There's not much respite though for Sergio and Noren. The Spaniard played what should have been a sterling approach into the sixth but Webb Simpson has stiffed it to within ten foot and their birdie should be a formality.
Poulter & McIlroy (1UP) vs Spieth & Thomas
Yep it's a triple bogey for the Europeans and it's back to one.
Garcia & Noren vs Watson & Simpson (2UP)
Noren's putt doesn't even come close. He's read contours into that one that don't exist and it stays straight out left of the hole. Watson steps over the short birdie putt and makes no mistake. Their lead is back to two.
