From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Raw tag team championship match:

The Revival (c) v Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins

The Revival

It's time for WWE's Top Guys to defend their championships against a Ryder and Hawkins team who've been desperate for a win - Hawkins particularly, who has racked up the better part of 300 defeats!

"The heavy handed Dash Wilder"

Corey Graves on commentary went there!  Wilder got some hefty praise on social media on Saturday night for his intervention in the attack on Bret Hart at the WWE Hall of Fame.

He delivers some hefty blows to his opponent in this match before tagging in Scott Dawson who dishes out more punishment on Ryder. The challengers had started the match on top, but The Revival are starting to rally.

BREAKING: NEW RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!

Hawkins has done it! Ryder and Hawkins have done it!

The Revival looked all set to retain after a sickening Brainbuster on the outside on Hawkins. The latter was playing a little possum, though, and baited in Scott Dawson perfectly for a a roll-up and three count.

We have new Raw tag team champions! Incredible!

Battle Royal, take two...

Carmella has claimed the honours in tonight's Women's Battle Royal - now it's the turn of the men.

The Hardy Boyz are among the latest to enter, with SNL comedians Colin Jost and Michael Che also involved. I suspect they may feature heavily...

It's an absolute mess in the ring right now.

Eliminations are coming thick and fast as some short-lived alliances prove to be exactly that.

Braun Strowman, Che and Jost still look set to have the final say here, which is a shame given the huge mass of genuine talent in the ring who deserve more.

BRAUN STROWMAN WINS THE ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL

As suspected, it's Jost, Che and Strowman at the climax. A needless segment sees Jost try to talk his way out of a beating, but Strowman eventually hurls him out of the ring for the win.

Oh dear.

BRAAAAAAAUN!

Wrestlemania is here!

The KickOff show is done - Wrestlemania is underway with the traditional rendition of America The Beautiful.

The 80,000 crowd looks mightily impressive.

Alexa Bliss, your host...

She's five feet of fury, and your host for this year's WrestleMania - it's Alexa Bliss!
