The two fierce rivals meet locked on nine points each at the top of the Scottish Premiership, winning all three of their matches so far this season to put them clear of the rest of the league. Having won their last two meetings, Rangers are looking to strengthen their title credentials with a third consecutive derby win, but Celtic are looking to claim a ninth consecutive Premiership this season.
Steven Gerrard has sprung something of a surprise by preferring Jermain Defoe up front ahead of Alfredo Morelos, while Celtic hand Fraser Forster his second start in goal. Since his move from Southampton. Follow the live updates below.

Patient buildup play from Rangers ends with a clever pass into the feet of Defoe, who looks to turn and shoot on his left foot. Bitton does well to stay tight and block the effort, which deflects behind for a corner. Forster punches clear the in-swinging delivery that follows.

The home side are playing with more purpose, more urgency since the break. Davis plays an excellent pass into the path of Defoe, who tries to cut onto his right foot before shooting. Jullien reads it, though, and makes a strong tackle.
