The final in Porto was not a game for the ages as a match billed as a battle between the two captains, Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil Van Dijk, was settled by Valencia forward Guedes on the hour mark.
The 1-0 win was enough for the reigning European champions to add the inaugural Nations League crown to their honours list with victory in front of their own fans. Re-live the action below:

Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
24 mins: It hasn't quite been the head-to-head contest between the two main stars so you could see that as a win for the Netherlands in keeping Ronaldo quiet.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
27 mins: Portugal have got into the game now, they're starting to dominate possession but clear cut chances on goal haven't materialised as of yet. A long ball comes into the box and Ronaldo hits it first time only for van Dijk to make the block.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
30 mins: Guerreiro makes a mistake and misses the ball so Dumfries can nip in behind him and put a cross into the box for the Netherlands. Fonte heads it away and Portugal attack. First Fernandes down the right forces Cillessen into a diving save and wins a corner. The corner is played short and whipped into the box, Ronaldo wins the header and heads it straight at Cillessen. The flag goes up anyway for offside.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
33 mins: Another promising move from the Dutch ends in disappointment. They spread Portugal before sending Dumfries down the right into tons of space. He runs the ball to the edge of the box and tries to pull it back but his pass is weak and it gets intercepted.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
36 mins: Portugal again break quickly to put themselves in a strong position before Guedes gets a shot away but van Dijk blocks it. Bernardo Silva brings the ball back towards the box running straight at the centre-backs before laying it up for Fernandes who hits one over the bar.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
39 mins: He's so frustrated. Bernardo uses some fancy footwork to keep hold of the ball after running with it into the box, he sets up Fernandes again on the edge of the box and again Fernandes hits his shot too high much to his own discontent.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
42 mins: A little bit of possession for the Netherlands at the end of this half but they don't do much with it, they're finding it very, very hard to break down Portugal, it's not that easy to find a pass through the Portuguese mid-field.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
45 mins: The Dutch win a corner. The first of the night for them but Portugal clear it and are able to send Bernardo sprinting down the right side, Nelson Semedo comes up to join him and wins a corner off van Dijk.
Fonte meets the corner ball and heads it wide as the whistle goes to end the first half. Still all to play for in the last 45 minutes.
Portugal 0 - 0 Netherlands
Second half: Netherlands make a change at half time. Promes comes on for Babel, he certainly had an impact against England and he'll need to have one here as the Dutch have to up their game if they want to win this match.
