At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Manchester United fell to Crystal Palace as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side began their Premier League campaign one week late on Saturday.

Palace took the lead through Andros Townsend after just seven minutes, and they doubled their advantage on 74 minutes when Wilfried Zaha netted a re-take from the penalty spot after David de Gea stepped off his line when saving Jordan Ayew’s initial effort.

United debutant Donny van de Beek came off the bench to pull one back for the hosts, but Zaha bagged his brace with five minutes remaining at Old Trafford to put the result beyond doubt. Re-live all the updates below:

Kick off: It’s a big day for Leeds United who are playing their first home game in the Premier League for 16 years. Marcelo Bielsa was forced into a late change as Pable Hernandez injured himself in the warm up. New signing Rodrigo comes in to replace him.

Fulham start the match with a ball up to Mitrovic. He’ll need to have a good season if they want to remain in the Premier League.
