Manchester United fell to Crystal Palace as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side began their Premier League campaign one week late on Saturday.

Palace took the lead through Andros Townsend after just seven minutes, and they doubled their advantage on 74 minutes when Wilfried Zaha netted a re-take from the penalty spot after David de Gea stepped off his line when saving Jordan Ayew’s initial effort.

United debutant Donny van de Beek came off the bench to pull one back for the hosts, but Zaha bagged his brace with five minutes remaining at Old Trafford to put the result beyond doubt. Re-live all the updates below:

Five minutes to go until kick off. Who’s taking this points away from this one?

Patrick Bamford might be the key man for Leeds today. He scored in both games against Fulham in the Championship last season.

As both Leeds and Fulham look for their first Premier League points of the year it’s worth remembering that the side playing at home won the match when the teams met last season.

Advantage Leeds then?

A smiling, beaming Dominic Calvert-Lewin was obviously happy at the end of the match, he told BT Sport:

We started a little bit slow, West Brom hit us on the break. We struggled to get it right.

"But then it was a nice day all round for myself, my first hat-trick. A good team performance.

"You look at the quality we have on the ball, it was important we utilised it with the extra man. We penetrated when we needed and I was happy to be in the box to tap them in.

"Carlo Ancelotti is on me every day for first-touch finishes and to be in the box, in the right areas. It's nice to know what I'm working on in training is coming off on the pitch.

"It's always nice when James Rodriguez has played at the highest level and he's settled straight in. It's not been too difficult for him. He's creating chances for me.

"It's important not to get carried way. We're taking it game by game. I need to keep taking care of business here."

Two of the three newly promoted teams go head-to-head next as Leeds take on Fulham.

Marcelo Bielsa makes one change to the side that faced Liverpool last week. Captain Liam Cooper is back from injury and he replaces Pascal Struijk.

Leeds XI: Meslier, Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Dallas, Harrison, Phillips, Klich, Hernandez, Bamford, Costa

Scott Parker does a touch more reworking of his side that lost to Arsenal last Saturday. Captain Tom Cairney drops to the bench along with goalkeeper Marek Rodak, Neeskens Kebano and Tim Ream.

In their place come French gaolkeeper Alphonse Areola and Dutch defender Kenny Tete, both making their debut.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Aleksandar Mitrovic also start.

Fulham XI: Areola, Tete, Hector, Odoi, Bryan, Reed, Zambo Anguissa, Kamara, Onomah, Cavaleiro, Mitrovic

Everton make it two wins in their opening two games. James Rodriguez opened his account and Dominic Calvert-Lewin now has four goals in two games. Impressive stuff from Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Up next we’ll have coverage of Leeds vs Fulham and reaction from Goodison Park.

90+4 mins: The final whistle goes. Everton win and move go top of the Premier League table. West Brom were always going to be up against it after they went down to 10-men. Pereira’s free kick two minutes into the second half gave them a bit of hope but Everton took full advantage of their extra man, Calvert-Lewin completed his hat-trick and Michael Keane scored in his second consecutive game at Goodison Park.

The Toffees were just too much for the Baggies today. Kieran Gibbs’ sending off was the crucial blow for the visitors who have conceded eight goals in the opening two games. Work to do for Slaven Bilic and his team.

90 mins: Four minutes to be added on.

87 mins: There’s not much happening out there now. West Brom are tired, Everton are cruising. Sigurdsson sends a diagonal pass up to Digne who send the volley into the box. Richarlison makes a run into the area and heads the ball wide.

84 mins: Top day for this man.

81 mins: Everton are controlling this game easily now. Passing the ball around, being patient, waiting for an opening, running down the clock.
