Everton have been one of the form teams in the country so far, winning all six of their matches in all competitions and making it three from three last weekend, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his goalscoring run before netting a hat-trick in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham.
Ancelotti does have a number of injury concerns on his hands though, including summer signing Allan, and Brighton will fancy their chances of an upset after resting the bulk of their squad during the week. Follow the live updates below.
54 mins: Leeds attack Man City on the counter. Bamford to Roberts, back to Bamford who overruns it.
Sterling sets himself up for a repeat of the first half goal. Cutting in from the left and shooting with his right but this time the shot is blocked.
51 mins: Swift move from Leeds as Poveda storms forward with the ball. He passes to Klich and runs inside. Klich gives it back to him and he sends it out ot Ayling on the right. Ayling crosses the ball with Roberts, Bamford and Klich waiting in the area but he hits it out of play.
48 mins: Leeds seeing more of the ball in the middle of the pitch but City are keeping them well contained in the middle third.
Second half: Ian Poveda is on for Leeds Ezgjan Alioski the man to go off at half time. The home side get us back underway, Ayling runs it at Mendy before the ball comes to Poveda. Mendy tries to get back but the cross comes in and Laporte puts it behind.
Newcastle take on Burnley in the late kick off. We’ll bring you the team news when they come out in about 30 minutes.
Benjamin Mendy looks shaky at the back. Every City fan knows he’s prone to mistakes, Leeds will have to exploit that in the second half.
Leeds 0 - 1 Man City
45+1 mins: Half time. Man City dominated the opening 25 minutes and found a way to get in front courtesy of a Raheem Sterling goal. Kevin De Bruyne hit the post and Luke Ayling has the best chance for Leeds.
Just before the break, he gets forward, runs past Benjamin Mendy and is denied by the right hand of Ederson.
