Everton have been one of the form teams in the country so far, winning all six of their matches in all competitions and making it three from three last weekend, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his goalscoring run before netting a hat-trick in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham.
Ancelotti does have a number of injury concerns on his hands though, including summer signing Allan, and Brighton will fancy their chances of an upset after resting the bulk of their squad during the week. Follow the live updates below.
EVERTON VS BRIGHTON TEAM NEWS
After this match concludes, Everton take on Brighton at Goodison Park. Here are the starting line ups:
69 mins: Luka Milivojevic is brought on for Crystal Palace, James McCarthy making way.
N’Golo Kante picks up a yellow card for pulling down Ayew.
Chelsea 2 - 0 Crystal Palace - Zouma
66 mins: GOAL! Chilwell’s corner is headed out by Kouyate. It comes to Hudson-Odoi who passes it back to Chilwell. The left-back whips it back into the box and Zouma heads it past Guaita to double Chelsea’s lead.
63 mins: Abraham passes the ball to Werner who lets it run for Chilwell. He takes a touch, looks into the box and crosses the ball. It gets blocked and goes out for a corner.
60 mins: Havertz fouls Eze in Palace’s half. It’s played out to Ward who crosses the ball into the hands of Edouard Mendy. Is that the Chelsea goalkeeper’s first touch from open play? It might be.
57 mins: McArthur goes for goal from outside the box. He mishits the shot and spoons it well wide of goal. Roy Hodgson isn’t impressed with that effort.
54 mins: Ben Chilwell opens the scoring on his first Premier League start for Chelsea. It was a powerful finish as well.
The game should open up now if Crystal Palace fancy chasing an equaliser. They win a corner and Townsend crosses it in but once again he doesn’t beat Havertz at the near post.
Chelsea 1 - 0 Crystal Palace - Chilwell
50 mins: GOAL! Finally the deadlock is broken! Hudson-Odoi tries to get into the box from the right, he loses the ball but Sakho miscues his clearance and Hudson-Odoi taps it to Azpilicutea. He shoots and the ball deflects over to Chilwell who rattles one with his left-foot and fires it into the back of the net.
48 mins: Chelsea restarted the game, there’s no changes from either team. Hudson-Odoi chases the ball down as it comes flying down the right. He keeps it in play but his pace takes him off the pitch and Palace pick up possession.
