Follow the latest updates live from the Premier League clash between Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion as Carlo Ancelotti’s side look to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season.

Everton have been one of the form teams in the country so far, winning all six of their matches in all competitions and making it three from three last weekend, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his goalscoring run before netting a hat-trick in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham.

Ancelotti does have a number of injury concerns on his hands though, including summer signing Allan, and Brighton will fancy their chances of an upset after resting the bulk of their squad during the week. Follow the live updates below.

6 mins: It’s going to be a busy day for Brighton’s back line. Coleman crosses the ball from the right and Dunk gets in front of Richarlison to head the ball clear.

3 mins: Dominic Calvert-Lewin is sky high with confidence. Bissouma’s touch is heavy and Doucoure taps it to the striker. He gets into the box and shoots but Ryan dives low to make the save.

Everton attack again, this time with Seamus Coleman arriving from the right wing. He gets off a shot and Ryan makes another good save.

Quick start from the Toffees.

Here come the teams. Everton could win four games in a row at the start of the season for the first time in 51 years.

Brighton are winless in their eight away fixtures against Everton in all competitions, losing all three Premier League matches at Goodison Park. They’ve drawn two and lost six.

The Seagulls have not earned an away point at Everton since a 2-2 draw in October 1982.

Not good signs for the visitors.

More from Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell who spoke about how the new signings were settling into the club. He said:

"I’ve heard the Premier League's a lot different to other leagues, so it’s going to take the new signings time to adjust. Everyone worked hard today and they’re starting to gel.

"The reason we've all come here is because we feel the team can win stuff. We just need to keep working hard and producing performances like today."

Over to Goodison Park where Everton are looking to extend thier winning run and go back to the top of the Premier League.

In their way stand Brighton who come into the game off the back of a heart-breaking defeat to Manchester United last time out.

Reaction from goalscorer and Chelsea debutant, Ben Chilwell who told Sky Sports:

"Yeah, a brilliant team performance and I’m obviously happy with my personal performance but I think that’s just a great start for us to kick on now.

"We got a clean sheet which we wanted and spoke about and four great goals as a team. I like the way we kept going until the end, we wanted more goals, showed a hunger to press for the whole 90 minutes and it’s brilliant going into the international break.

“The first half we were patient but maybe didn’t take quite enough risks in the final third. The gaffer said to us at half time that we needed to be a bit more creative in the attacking half and we’ve got unbelievable talent up there and we need to show it. We did that in the second half.”
