Follow the latest updates live from the Premier League clash between Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion as Carlo Ancelotti’s side look to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season.

Everton have been one of the form teams in the country so far, winning all six of their matches in all competitions and making it three from three last weekend, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his goalscoring run before netting a hat-trick in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham.

Ancelotti does have a number of injury concerns on his hands though, including summer signing Allan, and Brighton will fancy their chances of an upset after resting the bulk of their squad during the week. Follow the live updates below.

33 mins: A turn and burst by Coleman sends Everton on the attack. The ball is worked to Calvert-Lewin but White reads the play and intercepts.

30 mins: Calvert-Lewin wins the ball up the pitch and he gives it to Sigurdsson. He finds Rodriguez who gives for goal from range but hits the shot too high and it goes wide.

27 mins: Digne drags Bissouma back by the shoulder and gives away a free kick. Brighton lose the ball over on the left wing and Everton send it to their back line, inviting the press.

24 mins: Lamptey uses the wet turf to slide into a challenge on Richarlison. He wins the ball but cleans out the Everton striker who lands awkwardly on his injured ankle. 

Iwobi is coming on to replace him. Worrying signs for Carlo Ancelotti and Everton.

20 mins: March brings the ball down the left wing and tries to work his way into the box but he’s closed off. He passes it back to Alzate who crosses it into the box but it goes over everyone’s head.

16 mins: GOAL! An Everton free kick over to the left side of the box is played quickly. Sigurdsson flicks it into the back post and Calvert-Lewin jumps over everyone else and heads it into the back of the net.
