Everton have been one of the form teams in the country so far, winning all six of their matches in all competitions and making it three from three last weekend, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his goalscoring run before netting a hat-trick in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham.
Ancelotti does have a number of injury concerns on his hands though, including summer signing Allan, and Brighton will fancy their chances of an upset after resting the bulk of their squad during the week. Follow the live updates below.
75 mins: Brighton win a corner and pass it across the edge of the box before losing the ball as Everton boot it towards the other end of the pitch.
LEEDS VS MAN CITY TEAM NEWS
The next game on Premier League Saturday has been built up by Sky Sports all week. Leeds vs Man City, Bielsa vs Guardiola. Kick off is at 5.30pm so here’s a look at the teams:
Everton 4 - 1 Brighton - Rodriguez
70 mins: GOAL! Alzate loses the ball and Doucoure sends it up to Iwobi before continuing his run into the box. Iwobi returns the ball to Doucoure who cuts it back to the far post for another tap in for James Rodriguez. He’s got two today, right place, right time.
69 mins: Tom Davies rescues Jordan Pickford. Solly March sends the ball into the six-yard box from the right side. Pickford chooses to punch the ball instead of catching it. His punch comes to Neal Maupay who brings the ball down off his chest as Tom Davies slides in to knock it away before he can shoot.
66 mins: Adam Lallana comes on for Aaron Connolly. He had a good game against Manchester United and will get about 30 minutes to try and turn the game around for Brighton.
63 mins: Brighton aren’t creating much, they’re slow and not aggressive in the final third. All too easy for Everton.
60 mins: Yerry Mina is put under pressure from Lewis Dunk at the back post. He manages to get the ball over the goal but takes a hit off Jordan Pickford who also came for the ball. Pickford hit him hard and looks to have taken the wind out of him.
57 mins: Seamus Coleman has picked up a knock and he’s been replaced by Fabian Delph for Everton.
54 mins: Everton win a corner and Sigurdsson whips it into the area. Brighton defend it well and can break with Connolly. He holds it up whilst his teammates sweep forward but his cross into the penalty area is poor and it goes over everyone.
Everton 3 - 1 Brighton - Rodriguez
52 mins: GOAL! James Rodriguez scores his first goal at Goodison Park. Trossard’s pass is intercepted by Calvert-Lewin who passes it into the box for Iwobi. Rodriguez drifts to the back post and Iwobi picks him out, leaving him with an easy tap in to score.
