From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of Hull City vs Arsenal, an FA Cup fifth round replay at the KC Stadium.

Arsene Wenger's side were held to a goalless draw by the Tigers at the Emirates over a fortnight ago, thanks to an inspired performance by the visitors' second-choice stopper Eldin Jakupović.

Can Steve Bruce's men go one better by claiming a super-club scalp and progressing to the quarter-finals?

A few more familiar faces in that Hull side, including former Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone. Can he hammer a nail into Arsene Wenger's coffin?

Hull City could be in for a nice little windfall if they can upset the odds today. That's because the owner of their sponsors Flamingo Land has been so taken by the success of 16-year-old academy graduate Josh Tymon that he wants to see more youngsters in the Hull side.

Gordon Gibb has already donated £10,000 to the academy but if Hull win tonight he'll chuck in another £40,000.

A good read indeed. If there's been one bright spark through a rather insipid cup campaign for Arsenal so far it's been the form of Iwobi, who has shown real confidence on the ball and a willingness to get forward and play the high risk/high reward pass.

A reminder of how the action played out last time the two sides met, with Eldin Jakupovic on inspired form for Hull.

Arsene Wenger has admitted to BT Sport that Olivier Giroud's recent goal drought is a worry, but hopes some good news off the field will spur him on:

It is a concern. You always say to your strikers don't worry if you don't score but after a while they need to. Olivier has become a father last night, we hope it offers a little injection for him to score tonight.
