The Frenchman has faced a lot of criticism in the past week with Arsenal failing to win any of their last three Premier League matches - they are now eight points behind leaders Leicester City with just nine matches of the season remaining.
The poor spell, Arsenal have not won in five in all competitions, has seen their Premier League title hopes take a huge knock, while they face a 2-0 deficit in the Champions League against Barcelona and face Hull City at the KC Stadium in a replay on Tuesday night.
"Look, I have worked here for 19, 20 years and I'm always sitting here having to justify that I'm good enough to do the job," Wenger said ahead of the game against Hull.
"What I find just boring is always sitting here after 19 years to face (the question), 'Do you think you are good enough?'. If I am not, somebody will tell me."
Wenger also hit back at questions suggesting that fans were unhappy with him and his squad.
"I cannot influence the behaviour of the fans," he added.
"How can I do that? I don't know. I am humble enough every day to question myself, to accept my mistakes and, believe me, I do that.
"I try to do my job in a proper way and with full commitment. After that, everybody has the right to have an opinion."
