Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Danny Cowley and his Lincoln team will aim to "achieve the impossible" again when they take on Burnley this weekend but the Imps boss believes their FA Cup run - whenever it ends - will stand the club in good stead for the future.
Cowley has guided National League leaders Lincoln to the fifth round for the first time in 130 years and at Turf Moor on Saturday they will attempt to become the first non-league side to reach the quarter-finals since the competition's current format was instigated in 1925.
Lincoln City have no fresh injury problems but Lee Beevers remains out with a long-term knee injury.
Burnley are without Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick for their FA Cup fifth round clash against National League leaders Lincoln.
Brady is cup-tied having played for Norwich earlier in the competition, while Hendrick serves the second match of a three-game suspension.
Steven Defour (hamstring) is still out and Johann Berg Gudmundsson is fit to return, while the likes of Jon Flanagan, James Tarkowski, Tendayi Darikwa, Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes can all expect recalls.

Saturday's FA Cup fixtures:
12.30pm: Burnley v. Lincoln City
3.00pm: Huddersfield v. Man City
3.00pm: Middlesbrough v. Oxford Utd
3.00pm: Millwall v. Leicester
3.00pm: Wolverhampton v. Chelsea
78 mins: JOEY BARTON FREE-KICK KLAXON! This time the set-piece hits substitute Ashley Barnes, the downward header comfortably gathered by Farman.
80 mins: Panic in the Lincoln penalty area! A slick one-two sends Tendayi Darikwa down the right to cross, and his low ball causes chaos. First, Gray completely miskicks with the goal looming before Boyd and Ashley Westwood both find themselves crowded out by an approaching Farman. Somehow the Imps scramble to safety and the match remains all square.
83 mins: Lincoln survive again as a Scott Arfield corner from the left is headed on to the roof of the goal by Tarkowski. Are the non-league beginning to feel the nerves inside the final ten minutes?
85 mins: Burnley have forced more chances in the past five minutes than they managed in the previous 80. This time it was Gray slipped in by Arfield, the striker continuing on goal despite being clearly pulled back by a defender. Off-balance, the forward flashed his shot high and wide, only then complaining about the earlier infringement. Graham Scott is not interested in his complaints.
89 mins: GOAL! BURNLEY 0 LINCOLN 1:
Unbelievable scenes at Turf Moor! With one minute remaining, non-league Lincoln City are ahead at Premier League Burnley! A deep corner from the right, their second in quick succession, was headed back across goal by Luke Waterfall to Sean Raggett at the far post. The defender got up highest to nod in underneath the crossbar from close range, and despite Tom Heaton clawing the effort away, notification was given that the ball had clearly crossed the line. Referee Graham Scott pointed to the halfway line, and 3000 Lincoln fans exploded in delight!
90 mins: There will be five minutes of stoppage time for Lincoln City to hold on for the most famous of wins.
90+4 mins: Burnley force a corner, and up comes Tom Heaton to help his side find a desperate equaliser. Delivered into the box, captain Waterfall rises high to clear the ball away. Burnley regain possession, but the danger disappears...for now.
90+5 mins: The allotted time is up but still Graham Scott plays on. Can Lincoln hold on?
