From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Danny Cowley and his Lincoln team will aim to "achieve the impossible" again when they take on Burnley this weekend but the Imps boss believes their FA Cup run - whenever it ends - will stand the club in good stead for the future.

Cowley has guided National League leaders Lincoln to the fifth round for the first time in 130 years and at Turf Moor on Saturday they will attempt to become the first non-league side to reach the quarter-finals since the competition's current format was instigated in 1925.

Lincoln City have no fresh injury problems but Lee Beevers remains out with a long-term knee injury.

Burnley are without Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick for their FA Cup fifth round clash against National League leaders Lincoln.

Brady is cup-tied having played for Norwich earlier in the competition, while Hendrick serves the second match of a three-game suspension.

Steven Defour (hamstring) is still out and Johann Berg Gudmundsson is fit to return, while the likes of Jon Flanagan, James Tarkowski, Tendayi Darikwa, Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes can all expect recalls.

83 mins: A double substitution as Paul Lambert goes for broke. It's time for The Romain and Ronan Show as Romain Saiss and Connor Ronan are introduced in place of Bodvarsson and Saville.

85 mins: Cesc Fabregas fluffs a chance to seal Chelsea's place in the quarter-finals. The Spaniard was given loads of time as the visitors sprung another excellent counter, but still took to long which allowed a defender to get across and deflect the eventual shot wide.

89 mins: GOAL! WOLVES 0 CHELSEA 2:

Now Chelsea can celebrate! Diego Costa makes sure of their fifth round win by doubling the Premier League side's lead with a minute remaining. With tired legs emanating throughout the Wolves side, N'Golo Kante moved play into the penalty area at pace. Matt Doherty tried to intervene but was only able to ricochet the ball into the path of Costa, who needed just one touch to slam across Carl Ikeme and into the bottom corner.

90 mins: And there will be just three minutes of injury time before Chelsea are officially the fourth team in the draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals.

There was no cup shock at Molineux this evening, but we've seen two today which sent The Independent's sports desk into overdrive. Here's their take on the biggest giantkilling acts in FA Cup history.

So Chelsea have seen off Wolves of the Championship to take their place in the quarter-finals, but today was not about the Premier League leaders. Today was about the FA Cup, and how - despite the battering it has taken in recent years - it is still the greatest club competition in the world.

At the New Den, a last minute goal from Shaun Cummings goal meant League One Millwall defeated Leicester City, the current champions of England, despite playing 38 minutes with ten men following Jake Cooper's sending off.

Yet even that played second fiddle to the real story earlier in the day when National League leaders Lincoln City won at Premier League Burnley. Again, it was a final minute goal that did the damage, only this time Sean Raggett's header ensured that The Imps became the first non-league club to reach the last eight of the FA Cup since 1914. Now that's magic.

That's all for today, but James Marriner will be here tomorrow to talk you through two more FA Cup fifth round ties that include a London derby between Fulham and Tottenham at Craven Cottage. Until then, thanks for reading and goodnight.
