Follow all the latest reaction from stage 20 of the Tour de France today.

Slovenian Tadej Pogacar is now poised to win a second consecutive Tour de France title after the Slovenian retained the overall leader’s yellow in the 20th stage, a 30.8-km individual time trial won by Belgian Wout van Aert on Saturday.

Barring a crash in Sunday’s final stage in Paris, the 22-year-old Pogacar will finish ahead of Dane Jonas Vingegaard and Ecuador’s Richard Carapaz, who are set to end up second and third overall, respectively.

Oooooo, what do I know?! Kung loses ten seconds over the middle 13 kilometres and is now just 0.25 seconds in front of Kasper Asgreen!

This is going to be so, so close on the line.

Kung is absolutely motoring here. He is on a mission to deliver Groupama-FDJ their first stage since Thibaut Pinot won stage 14 of the 2019 Tour de France.

Pierre Latour has just set off. The Frenchman received a warm reception from the home crowd, but not even he will be eyeing victory today. It’s all about reaching Paris now for Latour who has been exciting and aggressive throughout the 2021 edition.

Just 44 riders yet to start now.

Stefan Kung is off on his ride. Wearing the European time trial champions jersey, he looked laser-focused before rolling down the ramp.

He was left aggravated after finishing second in the first time trial behind Tadej Pogacar. Kung will be pumped up to ensure the same does not happen again today.

Asgreen flying towards the finish. He has around five minutes left of his time trial and I’d be very surprised if this isn’t a new fastest time.

Asgreen goes five seconds quicker than Bissegger at the second checkpoint.

A little more than ten kilometres to go now for the Dane to hold on to his slender lead and perhaps even increase his advantage.

European time trial champion Stefan Kung will start his ride in around five minutes time. And we are only around half an hour away from 2018 Tour champion Geraint Thomas getting underway.

The big names are beginning to come to the fore as we approach the top 50 in the general classification.
