Dylan Neal is the latest actor to join the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey after being signed to play Anastasia Steele’s stepfather Bob.

The Arrow star will appear in the film adaptation of EL James’ erotic novel alongside Jennifer Ehle, who will play Ana’s mother Carla.

Billionaire fetishist Christian Grey will be played by Jamie Dornan with newcomer Dakota Johnson cast in the female lead as Ana.

“How We Do” singer Rita Ora was announced earlier this week as Christian’s adopted sister Mia, with the Oscar-winning Marcia Gay Harden cast as his mother, Dr Grace Trevelyan Fray.

To date, the Fifty Shades trilogy has sold over 70 million copies worldwide, making it one of the fastest-selling series of all time. The storyline follows the destructive, sexually-charged relationship between the wealthy Grey and a college student besotted by his charisma.

Shooting for Fifty Shades of Grey has already begun in Canada, according to Hollywood insider Deadline, ahead of a scheduled release on Valentine’s Day in 2015.

The film release date was delayed after several pre-production setbacks, including the departure of Charlie Hunnam from the role of Christian Grey due to family and scheduling reasons.
