Muslim pilgrims perform socially distanced Tawaf at Mecca
Muslim worshipers from around the world have made the pilgrimage to Mecca and prayed under social distancing rules.
Saudi Arabian authorities have stated they will only allow worshipers in that have met one of two criteria. They need to have either received a Covid-19 vaccine, or have recently recovered from the illness.
For the second year in a row, signature features in the holy month of Ramadan, such as large evening feasts and extended payers, have been restricted because of Covid.
