Your support makes all the difference.Bitterly cold temperatures are swept the UK on Friday, alongside heavy snowfall, ice and freezing fog, particularly in western England.
Yellow warnings for snow and ice were in place across parts of the UK, with overnight temperatures falling to almost -13C in Scotland.
The Met Office warned that road and rail journeys could be disrupted due to the cold weather. Flights were also affected as airports struggled to clear snow.
Further snow and ice are expected.
In New York, JFK, Newark and LaGuardia airports have warned that "Arctic temperatures" in the region could impact flights today (31 January).
All airports are warning customers to check with their airline before travel.
Freezing weather is also affecting flights to and from Europe.
Cologne Airport in western Germany said its runways are currently closed due to heavy snowfall, but that its team is working to clear them.
Severe weather is causing disruption to Northern Rail services between Meadowhall and Rotherham Central and Ellesmere Port and Helsby this morning.
"Where services are affected, and where possible, we will arrange road transport for customers on affected routes, but conditions make this difficult in some locations," says Northern on its website.
"All customers are advised to check before they travel as the wintry conditions are forecast to remain throughout the next few days."
Southeastern has announced it will run its Winter Weather timetable tomorrow (Friday 1 February) as bad weather is forecast. Train times will be different and peak services will be busier - passengers are advised to travel earlier or later if possible.
There have been reports of Manchester Airport struggling to deliver bags from aircraft to baggage carousels due to freezing conditions.
Lee McAteer tweeted: "Manchester Airport - can’t deliver bags because their equipment is frozen.
"Bit of snow and the UK goes into chaos. You’d think people wound be proactive and sort it - knowing the temperature! 40 mins and still no bags!"

Weather warnings from the Met Office are in still place until Friday at 9pm.
Snow and ice may bring disruption to parts of England and Wales, with possible effects including:
- Travel delays on roads stranding some vehicles and passengers
- Possible delays or cancellations to rail and air travel
- Some rural communities could become cut off
- Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected
- A chance of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Untreated pavements and cycle paths might be impassable because of black ice
