A fine service game from Djokovic who, while still not completely in his groove, is clearly the more settled. He holds to 15 and Berrettini will serve to stay in the first set.

An important hold for Berrettini whose first serve is far less reliable than in previous rounds. His power is still capable of forcing errors from Djokovic, though, and the Serbian’s forehand sails long.

Djokovic holds serve comfortably after another inexplicable miss by Berrettini at the net, when practically the entire court was at his mercy. The pressure will be back on the Italian’s serve now.

Djokovic breaks! Berrettini saves one break point with a huge serve but Djokovic is finding a way to control the Italian’s power, draws him into longer baseline rallies, and in those exchanges, Berrettini is always a clear second best.
