Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Eddie Jones and England are one game away from finishing 2016 with a 100 per cent winning record, with Australia the only side standing between them and perfection.
The war of words between the two coaches has rumbled on all week, with Michael Cheika criticising prop Dan Cole’s scrummaging technique and claiming Jones is looking for a chip on his shoulder.
England whitewashed the Wallabies Down Under during the summer, winning 3-0, and Cheika’s side will be looking for revenge at Twickenham.

Australia’s autumn international results:
Wales 8 Australia 32
Scotland 22 Australia 23
France 23 Australia 25
Ireland 27 Australia 24
England’s autumn international results:
England 37 South Africa 21
England 58 Fiji 15
England 27 Argentina 14
55 mins: Douglas is pinged for tackling Hartley without the ball and Farrell extends his perfect record with the boot. 30-16.
58 mins: Great steal from Lawes at the lineout as Jamie George and Joe Marler replace Mako and Dylan Hartley.
62 mins: Youngs is being replaced by Care. The scrum-half has been sensational today and may have put himself in pole position for the Lions with that performance.
65 mins: Bruising run from Folau and it takes four men to stop him. But the ball is worked out wide and Kepu skips through a couple of tackles from Marler and Farrell and is over for a TRY. After having two denied by the TMO he finally gets one. Foley misses the conversion. England 30 Australia 21.
66 mins: Farrell has gone off and Te'o is on in his place. The Saracens man was beaten too easily for that last Wallabies try.
68 mins: Harrison is on for Robshaw as Ford horribly misses a penalty. Quade Cooper is also on for the Aussies, so that should be fun.
71 mins: Haylett-Petty is given a yellow card for a late shoulder charge as England opt for the corner rather than the kick at goal.
73 mins: TRY! England 37 (Joseph) Australia 21
And that is that. Pocock's miss pass towards Folau is picked off by Joseph to finish under the posts. Too easy. Ford adds the extras.
79 mins: It's nearly over now. One last scrum and England will surely boot it into touch. Unless the fancy putting the Wallabies to the sword...
