Sony Michel's fourth-quarter touchdown proved the defining play of a game that was dominated by defences. The win, a sixth, sees the Pats equal the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most titles ever and gives quarterback Tom Brady the most-ever Super Bowls for a player.

Look away now, football fans!
The tension is there, but a few neat plays would be welcome in the second half.
McVay will need to conjure up something at the break and prove his worth as the genius on offence he is touted as.

Not only has Sean McVay been shut out for the first time in an opening half in his career as HC of the Rams.
But LA are the sixth team with no third-down conversions in the first half of a Super Bowl - and the bad news is that all five of the previous teams went on to lose.
Right then, let's see what the half-time show has to offer.
Maroon 5 up first and for all you who may have taken a glance at the props, including first song, they're going with Harder to Breathe!
Now it's OutKast's Big Boi... 'I love the way you move,' crowd definitely feeling this show a bit more now.
The local Atlanta acts doing the trick.
Meanwhile, the commercials are starting to gain some buzz.
And that's the end of Big Boi...
Maroon 5 back in control to close it out, some fireworks and now prayers that the Pats and Rams can combine to put on a game.
So how do the Rams get the ball moving in this second half?
Well, Greg Zuerlein is warming up out there, whilst dodging the stage being frantically pushed off the turf after that divisive Maroon 5 performance.
Meanwhile, the NFL commercial is getting a lot of buzz.
We're almost ready to get going again.
Goff almost picked by Hightower, wow!
Now second down and 10, can Goff give his team something to build some confidence.
Finally, Gurley rattles one off, a tidy cutback and a dash for a first down, much more like it.
That was just their third first down of the game, Gurley again, another five-yard chunk.
Chung is now injured on that tackle, what a blow that would be for the Pats.
