The weekend may be without Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy after they both missed the cut, but Saturday did not go without it's drama. Irishman Lowry has brought the fans to life with a truly brilliant round, and after starting the day on eight-under-par, he recorded a bogey-free round of 63 that featured eight birdies to lead Tommy Fleetwood by four shots.
Brooks Koepka moved himself up to fourth place alongside Justin Rose and just behindJB Holmes, but Lowry's brilliance means they already find themselvesa long way off the lead at the start of Sunday's play. The R&A Has also announced that Sunday's tee times have been moved forward due to the threat of bad weather. Follow the latest updates below.

What a shot from Danny WIllett to set himself up for a birdie on the last. He is just a few yards away from going eight-under.
Par three for Holmes to remain at 10-under. Lowry follows suit and the joint-leaders make their way to the sixth.
Tommy Fleetwood joins the leaders on 10-under with a birdie after an eagle attempt came up just short on the seventh.
And Danny Willett WON'T go into the clubhouse eight-under as he squanders a birdie chance on the last. He finishes on seven-under.
Meanwhile, Spieth drops to five-under with his second bogey of the round on the ninth.
Fleetwood gives himself a great chance to get a birdie with a lovely second shot on the par-four eighth.
Westwood almost hits his second shot on exactly the same spot as he eyes an birdie too.
Koepka squanders a chance to go eight-under and misses a birdie putt on the ninth. He saves par and continues at seven-under.
Justin Thomas ends with par on the 18th and heads to the clubhouse four-under for the Championship.
