The hosts took the morning fourballs 3-1 before keeping that advantage in the afternoon foursomes to take what could prove a decisive 10-6 lead into the final day.

What time does it start?
It all gets underway at 7.10am on Saturday morning with the opening fourballs.

Molinari & Fleetwood (4UP) vs Woods & DeChambeau
There's an American walking after their ball before it lands on ten but it wasn't Tiger. It's a beauty and Bryson DeChambeau knows it. Tiger finally does his comrade's work justice and gets the birdie to claw one back.
Rose & Stenson (2UP) vs Koepka & Johnson
How important could that putt prove to be? Dustin Johnson pushed his drive out right and although Koepka recovered well they could only ever make par after that. Rose has a good look at birdie from just under ten feet and it goes in. He punches the air. That one was big and they've got a cushion.
Poulter & McIlroy vs Spieth & Thomas (2UP)
McIlroy had a really good chance to win the tenth but his birdie putt has veered away from the hole at the very last moment. Big opportunity missed.
Garcia & Noren vs Watson & Simpson (3UP)
And it's the same for the Europeans over at the eleventh. It was a relatively simple one for Noren but he's given the slope more credence than it's worth and it's stayed out on the right lip.
Ed Malyon on the course:
7 iron for Poulter here at 11.... it’s right of the hole where the Americans went left. The US are about half the distance to the hole though.
Molinari & Fleetwood (3UP) vs Woods & DeChambeau
The Americans win their second on the bounce. Again it's DeChambeau who hits a great tee-shot at the par-3 eleventh to just over five foot and Woods holes the birdie again. Tiger's driving today has been really poor and DeChambeau's putting has always been the weakness in his game. The pair work much better in this order.
Back to Ed Malyon:
Incredible battle in the crowd as Woods lined up that putt. “Tommy, Tommy, Tommy” clashes with “Tiger, Tiger, Tiger” as both get louder to a wild crescendo. We will call it a draw, but on the course there’s only one winner so far. Moliwood still well ahead.
Poulter & McIlroy vs Spieth & Thomas (3UP)
Justin Thomas holes another brilliant birdie putt. It looked like it was going to hang outside the hole but the pace is so perfect that gravity can't resist sucking it in. Their lead is three now and they're playing some seriously good shots.
Molinari & Fleetwood (4UP) vs Woods & DeChambeau
This time Woods actually does find the fairway but DeChambeau, who is understandably hyped up, overcooks his iron shot. Molinari meanwhile hits an absolute corker and there's less than ten feet for Fleetwood. It's absolutely perfect from the Englishman. A sniper couldn't have put it any more central. Comeback over. Game over.
