From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Ladies off to a flyer...

Like most of the action tonight, this one is not starting quietly. Rousey has already hit one Piper's Pit and all three wrestlers have had half sights of their finishing moves.

Rousey has taken the first heavy, heavy hit of the night after landing badly on the ring apron and the floor at ringside.

Flair heads up to the top rope and goes for a moonsault, but Lynch reverses it into a Dis-Arm-Her, that Rousey in turn has to come into the ring and break up.

These three need eyes in the back of their heads.

Flair with some heavy chops to Rousey, but Rousey throws some sass at Flair that earns her a stiff smack across the head.

It may be entertainment, but these ladies are hitting hard.

Rousey tries to lock a double armbar on both Flair and Lynch, but pays the price as her two foes turn the tables and combine to powerbomb the former UFC star to break the hold.

It's a short-lived alliance, though, as Flair soon shoves Lynch out of the ring.

Huge, huge chance for Flair.

She scoops up Lynch in some sort of reverse suplex from the top rope - it's a landing that does neither of them any favours, but it earns Flair the closest of near falls.

Here's a table...

This isn't ending well. Lynch has grabbed a table from under the ring and shoves it inside the squared circle with menacing intent in her eyes.

DOUBLE SPEAR BY FLAIR!

It's another near fall for Flair, who has twice now come as close as you can do to winning this match.

The table remains in play...

Charlotte into the table!

It's a double arm-drag from Rousey and Lynch on Flair, who crashes into the table that buckles with the impact.
