Wolves v Manchester United LIVE: Premier League result and reaction as United grab late win in thriller
Marcus Rashford starts as Man United look to climb the Premier League table with a win at Wolves
Manchester United will attempt to get back to winning ways in the Premier League once more as they face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux this evening.
The Red Devils beat Newport in the FA Cup at the weekend but have won just two top-flight games from the last eight in a run stretching back to November. That leaves them ninth in the table, outsiders in the race for a Europa Conference League spot and not even in the conversation for Champions League places, a poor return for Erik ten Hag’s spending of over £400m.
For Wolves, recent form is a different story. Gary O’Neil has led his team to five wins in seven and just one defeat in 10 in all competitions, seeing the team rise to 11th in the table and knowing they can overhaul United in the table with victory this time out.
They also remain in the FA Cup after beating rivals West Brom in the fourth round, with the match notable for fan violence causing a delay to proceedings.

PENALTY TO WOLVES!!! Here's the chance for the hosts to get right back into this game!!! Lovely play in their own half opens up room for Lemina to stride into the final third before linking up with Neto. He dribbles into the box and beats Casemiro before being tripped late, and the referee has no hesitation in pointing to the spot!!!

Wolves manager Gary O’Neil has seen his sides lose all three of their Premier League encounters with Manchester United, without scoring a single goal. As a player, he only lost more games against Chelsea (15) than against Manchester United (10 of 14) in his top-flight career.

Forward come Wolves again as Neto is put into open space down the right before cutting inside. His central pass is run onto by Doyle, but his first-time shot is always rising and sails well over the crossbar!

Wolves are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League home games after losing each of their first two this campaign. Only once previously have they enjoyed a longer run (10) without defeat at Molineux, but unless they can turn this recent pressure into goals, that run is set to end in this game.

WIDE!!! Good play down the right from Wolves sees Neto and Bellegarde combine in the box before the latter lays it off for Cunha, whose curling first-time shot whistles just wide of the far post!
