Patterson receives the first yellow card of the game, having impeded Joao Gomes to stop a flowing Wolves move. Everton were in danger of being caught short there following some good play by Cunha, so their right wing-back took one for the team.

Wolves have managed 10 touches in Everton's area so far, with the Toffees only recording one at the other end. McNeil sets his sights from range, but he sends his powerful 25-yard effort comfortably over Sa's crossbar.

Wolves aren't happy as Semedo looks to break beyond Mykolenko, who appears to grab the wing-back's arm and send him to the turf. The referee declines to award a free-kick, as Semedo may not have kept his heavy touch in play anyway.

There's a brief moment of concern for Everton with Tarkowski down on his haunches. He looks to be holding his chest, but he's soon back up and looks okay to continue.

Everton threaten as McNeil skips through the Wolves midfield before looking to play in Calvert-Lewin, but he just gets too much on his throughball, allowing Sa to claim it.

Now Mykolenko is forced into action by Sarabia, sliding in with a well-timed challenge to stop the Spaniard in his tracks just inside Everton's area – he had to get that one right!

Wolves are showing some neat touches here without quite finding the final product in attack, while Everton still look to be getting to grips with this back-three system. The Toffees attempt to break through Calvert-Lewin, but Dawson stops him in his tracks with a firm challenge.

WIDE! Joao Gomes steals possession from Garner and Wolves quickly work it to Cunha. He shoots early from all of 25 yards out, and it just dips wide of the bottom-right corner with Pickford scrambling across.
