Manchester United are continuing to overhaul their squad and could be set to lose Paul Pogba to Real Madrid, who are looking to sell James Rodriguez to finance the deal.

Arsenal meanwhile continue to scrap with their limited transfer budget and are turning their interest to Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, but face competition from United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar and Antoine Griezmann are currently out of favour at their clubs and both are likely to face disciplinary action after failing to turn up on the first day of training at PSG and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Let's start with the huge news that Real Madrid are convinced that they can sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Pogba recently revealed that he feels the time is right for a "new challenge" and put some of Europe's top clubs on alert, including Madrid.

Reports in the Daily Mail suggest that the Zinedine Zidane's side is confident that Pogba will snub his former club Juventus in favour of a move to the Spanish capital, and Madrid are preparing to sell James Rodriguez to fund such a deal.

Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, said last week: "Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul's wishes. Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that."

PSG will listen to offers for Neymar and are willing to sell him if the price is right, confirmed the club's sporting director.

Neymar was absent from training on Monday amid growing speculation that he will leave the French champions this summer, with Barcelona interested in bringing him back to the Nou Camp.

Leonardo said: "Neymar can leave PSG, if there is an offer which suits everyone”

Pontus Jansson says he "really believes" in Brentford after switching Leeds for West London in a shock-deal last night.

Jansson played a key role in Leeds' run to the play-off semi-final and was named in the Championship PFA team of the year.

"Leeds will always be a part of me and my family," he added after joining Brentford on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Manchester United, Arsenal and PSG are set to battle it out in an effort to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The French midfielder endured a difficult season in his first year at Chelsea after completing a £40m switch from Monaco and spent last season on-loan at AC Milan where he re-established himself.

French outlet RMC Sport are reporting that Chelsea will make a decision on his future during their pre-season trip Ireland.

Manchester United are set to hold talks with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic after his agent arrived in London last weekend.

The 24-year-old midfielder has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford and Napoli will not budge on their £120m valuation.

The Serbian midfielder is viewed as a number of players that will be able to replace Paul Pogba should he leave the club this summer.

Arsenal are close to completing a £25m deal to sign William Saliba from Saint Etienne.

The 18-year-old defender impressed Unai Emery last season and is viewed as a long-term replacement for Laurent Koscielny.

Arsenal are operating with a relatively limited transfer budget this summer, but the deal will not eat into the £40m available this summer, according to The Evening Standard who report that the fee will be structured.

Atletico Madrid have opened disciplinary proceedings against Antoine Griezmann after he failed to report to training.

Griezmann has been caught up in a row with the club over a move to Barcelona that he agreed in March between crucial Champions League ties.

Romelu Lukaku remains one of Inter Milan's top transfer targets this summer as speculation over Maro Icardi's exit grows.

Antonio Conte tried to bring Lukaku back to Chelsea from Everton in 2017 and will try to do so again.

The Mirror are reporting that Lukaku may play against United by the time Inter face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side on July 20 in a pre-season match.

Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta said: “We are working hard to get the best squad possible for the new season. We are ambitious and want the best team possible. We also must find ways to respect all financial perimeters, too. We cannot rush things because that can lead to mistakes."

Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in signing Javier Hernandez from West Ham, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.

Chicharito joined the Hammers in 2017 and the 31-year-old has one year left on his contract, but with the east London side pursuing Celta Vigo's Maxi Gomez, the Mexican striker's game time could be under threat.
