Everton and Fulham got their cheque books out to dominate the headlines, with the Toffees landing Fc Barcelona duo Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, as well as Shakhtar Donetsk forward Bernard. They could yet sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea on loan, with confirmation yet to come on the late, late talks. Fulham meanwhile broke their transfer record with the signing of Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa for around £30m, while Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Luciano Vietto, Sergio Rico and Joe Bryan also moved to Craven Cottage.

Stoke City manager Gary Rowett has told four members of his squad that they are no longer required at the bet365 Stadium, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, record signing Gianelli Imbula, Geoff Cameron and Charlie Adam have all been told to find new clubs before the EFL deadline on 31 August.

Parma are set to sign Napoli duo Alberto Grassi and Roberto Inglese on loan deals with options to buy, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Both Grassi and Inglese were involved in the Italian league's relegation fight last season, with the latter particularly impressing as his 13 goals for Chievo helped them to maintain their Serie A status.
Parma are also said to have back-ups for the pair in the shape of Genoa's Gianluca Lapadula and Lazio's Davide Di Gennaro, should either Napoli deal fall through.
"Secret" negotiations have been taking place between AC Milan and the representatives of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports in Italy.
The 23-year-old was subject of interest from the Manchester clubs this summer, and now AC Milan are the latest club to try their hand in convincing Lazio to part ways with the Serbian.
The latest rumours suggest Milan could be preparing a complex loan offer for the midfielder.
