High praise for Saints defender

Liverpool legend Jan Molby has pleaded with his former club to sign Virgil van Djik.

"I think he’s a super player. Very rarely do you get a player like him who is so suited to all six top clubs in England" He went on to say: “He will leave. I’m not sure he will leave in January, I think he’ll leave in the summer and Liverpool should very much show an interest"

This comes in the wake of the loss to the Saints in midweek, where Ragnar Klavan's mistake gifted them the winning goal.

The Dutch defender has been linked with a move away from St Mary's.
