Manchester City have already signed two players with Benfica goalkeeper Ederson and Manaco playmaker Bernardo Silva both joining Pep Guardiola’s side.
One player who won’t be moving, however, is Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, who opted against joining Manchester United, who are understood to have also cooled their interest in the player.
That leaves Jose Mourinho still searching for a high-profile signing – but will it be Gareth Bale?
Arsene Wenger is also keen to get on with transfer business after settling his Arsenal future for another two years and has promised to spend money in order to turn the Gunners into title contenders.

Salah to Liverpool latest:
Liverpool are deep in talks with the former Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah and have agreed personal terms with the Roma player.
Jurgen Klopp will make him the club's most expensive ever player with a £35m bid, that, with add-ons, will eclipse the fee paid for Andy Carroll.
With the player wanting to return to the Premier League to prove his talent, the only thing left to be agreed is a transfer fee.
Deulofeu to Barca (again)
You'll be forgiven if you're suffering from some deja-vu here, but Gerard Deulofeu could be about to join Barcelona for the third time in his career. Or not. He has remained pretty non-committal on the situation.
"Maybe sometimes I’ve thought too much in the future. I’m living a very good moment in football and in the personal field, I’m calm.
I have to think about the national team right now and then I have to choose the best option.
It will be a busy summer in my case but I’m calm and everything will work out for sure."
Szczesny snubs Juventus?
Juventus are reportedly keen on Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma.
But Roma's president, James Palotta, has claimed that the Polish international has no intention of serving as an understudy to Gianluigi Buffon and instead wants to exit the Emirates for a permanent move at the Stadio Olimpico.
“He told me that he wanted to stay with us,” the Roma president told the Italian press.
“I’ll say more, I was surprised by the fact some of the players I thought had wanted to leave came up to me before and after the final game to say they wanted to remain.
“It’s a sign we’ve got a good group, we just lack some depth and [Roma's sporting director] Monchi will help us with that.”
Potentially big news from the south of France as Arsene Wenger is seemingly pictured in Nice.
Why could he be there? Well there's the small matter of a monster transfer bid the club had rejected for Kylian Mbappe last week.
The Monaco frontman won't come cheap but after being rebuffed once, can Arsenal stump up enough cash to make this deal happen?

Pepe and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly come to an agreement.
The Italian media was adamant that Inter Milan would sign the defender but Unai Emery has reportedly stepped in to make Pepe an offer.
Should the veteran defender arrive in Ligue 1 it will be the first of a busy summer of arrivals at PSG as they look to shake things up following Monaco's title win.
Salah latest:
Roma have responded to reports linking their £35m-rated winger with a move to Liverpool.
President Jim Pallotta: "There's nothing in it at the moment. We continue to receive offers for many of our players and if we were to listen to all of them, we'd lose three quarters of the squad. Now we'll see what to do."
