Manchester City have already signed two players with Benfica goalkeeper Ederson and Manaco playmaker Bernardo Silva both joining Pep Guardiola’s side.
One player who won’t be moving, however, is Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, who opted against joining Manchester United, who are understood to have also cooled their interest in the player.
That leaves Jose Mourinho still searching for a high-profile signing – but will it be Gareth Bale?
Arsene Wenger is also keen to get on with transfer business after settling his Arsenal future for another two years and has promised to spend money in order to turn the Gunners into title contenders.

Liverpool close on Salah
Mohamed Salah could be a Liverpool player in a matter of days as Jurgen Klopp’s summer transfer plans begin to take shape.
The Reds secured Champions League football on the final day of the Premier League season and Klopp is set for a bumper summer spend as he looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging both at home and in Europe next term.
And Roma wide-man Salah could be the first of seven new arrivals at Anfield with a deal worth in the region of £35million understood to be near completion.
The 24-year-old Egyptian international scored 15 goals and added 11 assists as Roma finished second in Serie A this season and the move will see him return to England after a short spell with Chelsea between 2014 and 2016 where he made just 19 appearances.
Right then folks, we'll call it a day there.
It's been a hectic day at the transfer rumour mill with Kylian Mbappe. Alexandre Lacazette and David de Gea all featuring heavily.
Expect more of those names for the foreseeable.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are close to signing Mohamed Salah for £35m while they remain keen on shattering their transfer record for Southampton's Virgil van Dijk.
