Sevilla vs Man City LIVE: Champions League result and final score as Erling Haaland gets two goals
Erling Haaland was on form as City beat Sevilla
Erling Haaland continued his free-scoring start to life at Manchester City with two more goals in a 4-0 win over Sevilla in Champions League Group G on Tuesday.
The Norwegian has now scored 12 goals in seven competitive games for City since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund during the close-season.
The blond striker put City ahead in the 20th minute, stretching to reach a cross from Kevin De Bruyne and place it past Sevilla keeper Yassine Bounou.
Phil Foden made it 2-0 after the break, jinking and turning to create space on the edge of the box before placing the ball into the bottom corner.
Haaland then made sure of a comfortable victory, pouncing to tap-in after Bounou had pushed out a low drive from the impressive Foden and then defender Ruben Dias added the fourth in stoppage time, turning in a low cross from Joao Cancelo.

This will be the second time Sevilla and Man City have met in major European competition - the Premier League side won home and away in the 2015/16 Champions League group stage.
It is Pep Guardiola’s first meeting with Sevilla since March 2012 when he was Barcelona boss. Guardiola has won just one of his past seven Champions League away games against Spanish sides - a 2-1 victory at Real Madrid in February 2020.

Tonight’s defeat is only the third time that Chelsea have lost their opening match of a Champions League campaign in 19 seasons.
No team have ever won the Champions League after losing their first game.
Sevilla vs Man City
Reaction from Chelsea’s defeat still to come but the focus moves over to Spain where Manchester City are getting prepared to take on Sevilla in their opening Champions League game.
Pep Guardiola’s side are boosted by the signing of Erling Haaland but the City boss says that the team isn’t relying on the forward to get them over the line.
“If we rely all on Erling’s shoulders we don’t win the Champions League,” said Guardiola. “I understand everyone talks about Erling but I have three, four, five new players and it’s important they all settle.
“We don’t win just for Erling and don’t lose just for Erling. He has a special quality and might be able to solve some problems.”

There have been plenty of substitutions but time-wasting has been at a minimum and there hasn’t been any lenghty injuries.
Dinamo Zagreb can feel aggrieved about that one. There’s plenty of time for a Chelsea equaliser.

85 mins: Incredible from Livakovic!
The Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper leaps across to his left as Reece James fizzes a shot at the near post. He tips it onto the post but Chelsea manage to recycle the ball and flick it into Mason Mount.
Mount hits one on the half-volley and forces another sharp two-handed save from Livakovic who can only palm it across to Ziyech.
Ziyech blasts one back at him and the goalkeeper sticks out his left leg to deny Chelsea a third time in quick succession before the whistle goes for an offside against Ziyech.
