But confidence at the club is high after their impressive 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino has brought Kieran Trippier and Moussa Sissoko into his starting line-up, while Dele Alli returns after sitting out one match of his three match European ban.
Swansea make one change from the team that lost to Newcastle last time out.

Let's have a closer look at how they line up at Wembley...
...where Mauricio Pochettino has made three changes to the team that beat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday. They include the return of Dele Alli, who is suspended for European competition, and he's joined in the starting XI by Kieran Trippier and Moussa Sissoko. Dropping to the bench are Serge Aurier and Mousa Dembele.
Paul Clement makes just the one change to the side that were beaten at home by Newcastle last Sunday. Leroy Fer drops the bench to allow his Dutch compatriot Mike van der Hoorn to come into the defence. New signing Renato Sanches gets his first experience of an away fixture in the Premier League.
Tottenham: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Dier, Sissoko, Eriksen, Son, Alli, Kane
Subs: Vorm, Aurier, Davies, Foyth, Dembele, Winks, Llorente
Swansea: Fabianski, Naughton, Van der Hoorn, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Clucas, Sanches, Carroll, Ayew, Abraham
Subs: Nordfeldt, Rangel, Roque Mesa, Routledge, Fer, Narsingh, Bony

Dele Alli returns for Tottenham after missing their Champions League fixture.
The two teams emerge from the Wembley tunnel and are almost ready to kick-off.
A first home win for Spurs at Wembley will take them level on ten points with second-placed Manchester United while a shock victory for visitors Swansea will lift the Welsh side up to 12th, joining Tottenham on 11 points.
KICK-OFF: In their changed strip of all red, Swansea get us underway at Wembley for the final Premier League game of the day. Indeed, with the two kits on display in this setting, it has the feel of an England versus Wales fixture from years past. I suppose, in some ways, it is.
5 mins: Both sides are feeling each other out in the opening moments as they fall into the desired shapes. It has meant little from an attacking perspective, but they've still registered a long range effort each. Dele Alli pulled an early shot from outside of the box wide of the post before Jordan Ayew returned a wayward Hugo Lloris clearance with too much height.
9 mins: Another long range effort, this time from Harry Kane, forces Lukasz Fabianski down low to make a save. The Swansea goalkeeper has to dive to his right to push the Tottenham striker's improbable 35-yard free-kick behind for a corner.
11 mins: Another Fabianski save, this time on the left-side of his goal denies Son Heung-Min from blasting in at the near post as he did on Wednesday night. The South Korean latched on to Moussa Sissoko's clever pass to let fly, only to find Fabianski equal to it. It could be a busy, old night for the Swansea stopper.
