GOAL: Watford 0-1 Stoke (Fletcher). Darren Fletcher spent much of his career playing in the same midfield as Paul Scholes and he obviously picked up a thing or two about volleying. A corner is drilled out to the edge of the area and the Scot clobbers a stunning first-time effort into the net, silencing Vicarage Road. What a hit.
GOAL: Arsenal 0-1 Swansea (Clucas). Well, well, well. Arsenal have dominated the opening stages at the Emirates but find themselves behind midway through the first half. Sam Clucas is the scorer, sauntering onto a through ball and finishing through Petr Cech's legs for his first goal for Swansea.
To call this a masterclass would still be something of a stretch, though, given that this was a match characterised by mistakes rather than any kind of mastery of anything.
Big chance for Manchester City to score their third. Kevin De Bruyne does one of those Kevin De Bruyne crosses, picking David Silva out in a crowded penalty box, but the Spaniard misjudges his header when it looked easier to score. It's been all City since that West Brom goal.
Liverpool are huffing and puffing at Anfield, but have yet to blow the Huddersfield house down. Mo Salah has their best chance so far, seeing a tame shot saved after a slick exchange of passes with Daniel Sturridge.
GOAL: Crystal Palace 0-1 West Ham (Hernandez). Drama at Selhurst Park, where West Ham take the lead just moments after a Crystal Palace penalty shout. Javier Hernandez is the man in the right place for the Irons, turning home with the outside of his foot after good work by Aaron Cresswell.
