Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Following Liverpool’s game with Stoke City, it is the turn of the 3pm kick-offs and what looks set to be one of West Bromwich Albion’s last games in the Premier League for the foreseeable future.

The Baggies will be relegated if they lose to away to Newcastle United but Southampton could make move to within a point of safety if they beat Bournemouth.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace welcome Leicester City to Selhurst Park and Everton travel to Huddersfield Town while Burnley continue their European chase against Brighton and Hove Albion.

GOALS! Crystal Palace 4-0 Leicester (Loftus-Cheek 81, Van Aanholt 84)

Two goals in quick succession at Selhurst Park!

First of all Ruben Loftus-Cheek runs onto Mamadou Sakho's through ball before slotting home, before Patrick van Aanholt scores from the edge of the area!

I think it's safe to say Palace have got all three points wrapped up.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 5-0 Leicester (Benteke pen, 90)

Christian Benteke converts from the spot after being brought down in the box by Harry Maguire.

Good composure from the big man.

Shocking performance by Leicester.
