From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Arsenal survived a scare to grind out a win over Huddersfield Town to boost their hopes of finishing inside the top four.

The Gunners raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to Alex Iwobi and Alexandre Lacazette.

But Town responded well, but their goal came too late to provide more pressure in pursuit of a point, with Sead Kolasinac putting through his own net in stoppage time.

Relive the action as it happened above.

GOAL! Watford 1-0 Everton (Gray 65')

The striker taps home from Will Hughes' fantastic square ball after a good backheel from Craig Cathcart to break the deadlock at Vicarage Road.

Everton are stunned, and the cheers continue as Richarlison is hauled off for the visitors.

A potentially huge goal for the visitors in the relegation fight, with Ralls' corner being flicked on to the Ivorian by Paterson, and the centre-back has the simplest task from a couple of yards.

This is poor from the substitute Batshuayi. He enters the area but fails to get his shot on target and trouble Fabianski. Big chance goes amiss.

83 min: Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth

A standing ovation for Wijnaldum after his stunning display, as he is replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who plays for the first time since January 12.

Decent chances at both ends here.

Alex Iwobi is denied by Ben Hamer in a one-on-one before Leno does well to save from Diakhaby.

The rebound falls to Depoitre, but he fires wide from a tight angle, before Koscielny clears off the line in the next attack.
