From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Sean Dyche’s inconsistent Burnley team play unbeaten Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. The Clarets have had a stop-start season so far, and come into this game in 13th place off the back of a 5-0 thumping at champions Manchester City last week.

Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea are two points off joint-leaders Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League, but did comfortably win 3-1 at home to BATE Borisov in the Europa League this week and have only dropped two points away from home so far.

What time does it start?

Burnley vs Chelsea kicks off at 1:30pm (BST) on Sunday 28 October.

Where can I watch it?

The match will not be shown live on TV or online in the UK.

Independent Sport will keep you up to date with all the goals as they fly in via our live blog.

Highlights will be shown at 10:30pm on BBC One.

It’s a big game for…

Joe Hart: Former England number one Joe Hart has only kept two clean sheets in nine league appearances this season, and will want to bounce back after conceding five on his return to the Etihad stadium last Saturday. With Tom Heaton back fit, the 31-year-old will want to avoid a similar display this Sunday against Chelsea not only for his team’s sake, but to keep his place in the starting XI also.

Weird stat…

10: If the Blues avoid defeat on Sunday, Maurizio Sarri will become the first Chelsea manager in the Premier League era to remain unbeaten throughout his first 10 games in charge.

Remember when…

Burnley stunned champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of last season. After Gary Cahill was sent off for a reckless challenge early on, Sam Vokes’ double and Stephen Ward’s strike put Burnley 3-0 ahead at half-time. Chelsea clawed two goals back in the second-half, but Sean Dyche’s men held out for a famous win.

Player to watch…

Mateo Kovacic: Despite Ruben Loftus-Cheek netting a hat-trick in the Europa League this week and Ross Barkley’s good form, Maurizio Sarri is likely to stick with Mateo Kovacic who has impressed so far this season. Wearing Eden Hazard’s old number 17 shirt, the 24-year-old on loan from Real Madrid has similar traits to the Belgian, and his creativity and slickness complements the robustness and power of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho at the heart of Chelsea’s midfield.

Past three-meetings…

Burnley 1 (Barnes) Chelsea (Long OG, Moses), Premier League, April 2018

Chelsea 2 (Morata, Luiz) Burnley 3 (Vokes 2, Ward), Premier League, August 2017

Burnley 1 (Brady) Chelsea 1 (Pedro), Premier League, February 2017

Form guide…

Burnley: LWLWDL

Chelsea: WDWWDW

Odds…

Burnley to win: 10/1

Chelsea to win: 7/20

Draw: 15/4

GOAL! Crystal Palace 1-0 Arsenal (Milivojevic 45+1')

A rash challenge from Shkodran Mustafi on Cheikhou Kouyate following a corner and the referee has no option but to point to the spot.

Luka Milivojevic makes up for his error last weekend and places the ball right into the corner and sends Leno the wrong way

Half Time: Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Another convincing half from Chelsea. They lead thanks to Alvaro Morata and in truth should have a few more if the Spaniard had been a little more clinical/

Pedro's injury has somewhat exacerbated the impact of Eden Hazard's absence, but Loftus-Cheek has done a good job on the left.

Burnley looked good early on but their threat petered out as the half went on. Can they rediscover it in the second half?

Half Time: Crystal Palace 1-0 Arsenal

A first goal of the season for Luka Milivojevic, Palace's first at home this season, has put the hosts into the lead, and they have fully deserved it.

Arsenal have looked shaky and that was no more evident when Mustafi lunged in unnecessarily on Kouyate.

All to do for Unai Emery as his side are behind for the first time since the opening day.

Redemption.

Kishan Vaghela28 October 2018 14:25

So, a shock for Unai Emery as he heads into half-time. His side have never led at half-time this season. Can his side respond?

And can Chelsea keep up their pressure at the top after a professional first-half performance?

Find out very shortly.

46 min: Crystal Palace 1-0 Arsenal

Change for Arsenal at the break.

Stephan Lichtsteiner comes on in a straight swap for Hector Bellerin. And we are back underway at Selhurst Park.

46 min: Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

We have kicked off again at Burnley as well.

Kishan Vaghela28 October 2018 14:35

50 min: Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Burnley have begun the second half much like they began the first, but they'll need better end product if they are to cause Chelsea any problems.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal (Xhaka 52')

What a hit. The Swiss catches the free-kick from the right with some force and Hennessey can only divert it with his fingertips onto the inside of the bar and in.

Kishan Vaghela28 October 2018 14:40

54 min: Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal

Palace look to hit back immediately with a fierce effort of their own, but Zaha's shot from the left does no harm to Leno's goal.
