Jose Mourinho’s side sit second in the Premier League, a position they will be looking to consolidate, with Liverpool only one point behind.
Eddie Howe’s men, meanwhile, could secure their Premier League status for a fourth consecutive campaign with a win. The Cherries are under no threat from relegation, currently ten points clear of the drop zone, but three points would certainly confirm their place in the top flight next term.

60 mins: Tempers are getting frayed after that recent controversy and its culminated in Wilson and Smalling tussling off the ball. In truth, it was six of one and half a dozen of the other as the pair wrestled each other to the ground, but it's the Manchester United man who sees yellow for his part in proceedings.
62 mins: Another booking, but this one is much clearcut. Paul Pogba got moving through the midfield, perhaps for the first time this evening, but the Frenchman couldn't enjoy it for long. Seconds into his ominous surge forward and he found himself flat out following Steve Cook's crude sliding challenge. It's all getting a little heated.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku is on for the final third of this one, replacing Jesse Lingard.
64 mins: Wilson is denied again, this time legally by Jones, but the danger hasn't passed for United. The resulting Bournemouth corner causes havoc in the box, but King fails to either get his shot away or go to ground after skipping over a grounded defender inside the six-yard-box.
67 mins: Moments after coming on, Lukaku wins a free-kick - dubiously - centimetres outside the box, before thumping said set-piece - foolishly - straight into the wall.
69 mins: A third yellow card in nine minutes and the fourth of the game. This time it's Andrew Surman who is cautioned for taking out Ander Herrera.
70 mins: GOAL! BOURNEMOUTH 0 MANCHESTER UNITED 2:
A 16th Premier League goal of the season for Romelu Lukaku and surely another three points for Manchester United. The substitute had been on the pitch for less than eight minutes, but he has already settled this contest in some style. Paul Pogba brought the play through the Bournemouth midfield before slipping a through ball in behind the home defence. Running on to play, Lukaku knew exactly where the goal was and whipped his shot back over the diving Asmir Begovic and into the far corner of the net.
75 mins: A couple of midfield changes to note since United's second. Dan Gosling has come on to replace Andrew Surman while Nemanja Matic has taken over duties from Ander Herrera.
79 mins: Paul Pogba needed to prove himself this evening to make sure of his place in the Manchester United team at Wembley on Saturday. He's not always been effective, he's not always been present, but he has improved during this second half and capped his 79 minutes on the pitch with a smart assist for United's second goal.
He is replaced by Daley Blind.
82 mins: As Mousset lashes a shot high over De Gea's goal, Eddie Howe prepares his team's third and final change of the evening. It sees the introduction of Jermain Defoe, on in place of Josh King. If anyone can rescue this game with two dramatic late goals, it's the Bournemouth substitute.
87 mins: A smart Martial back-heeled flick sets Daley Blind up beautifully on the edge of the box. The away section to the left hold their breath in anticipation, only for the Dutchman to unleash a sensational air-kick. It rightly draws unanimous 'waheys!' from around the ground and could well be the most entertaining moment of the night.
