Arsenal face Everton knowing only a win is likely to do if they are to have any chance of overhauling Manchester City or Liverpool for a place in the top four.
Heading into the final day of the Premier League season, Arsene Wenger’s team know destiny is out of their hands as they look to secure Champions League qualification for the 21st consecutive year.
Though the Gunners have won their last four matches and seven of their last nine, their late upturn in form will have been in vain unless City lose at Watford or the Merseysiders fail to beat relegated Middlesbrough at Anfield.
In their way stand an Everton side who have enjoyed a solid first season under Ronald Koeman but have precious little left to play for.

Where can I watch it?

It’s a big game for…
Alexis Sanchez: On what could easily be his final Arsenal appearance at the Emirates, as ever the Chilean’s form will be key to his side’s chances of success against the Toffees. The Gunners are outsiders to scrape into the top four but the 28-year-old will be out to ensure the Londoners at least fulfil their end of the bargain.
Best stat…
22: The combined number of top-flight titles won by Arsenal and Everton – making them the third and fourth most historically successful clubs in English league football. The Gunners have 13 and last tasted Premier League glory in 2004, while the Blues’ most recent of their nine successes came in 1987.
Remember when…
A frantic end to Everton’s 2-1 win over Arsenal last December saw the Gunners have two efforts cleared off the line, a penalty appeal turned down and Everton waste a golden chance to seal victory on the break.
Player to watch…
Ross Barkley. The Everton midfielder has still not signed a new contract with the Toffees amid growing uncertainty over his future. With Koeman stating he wants the 23-year-old to make a final decision by the end of the season, Sunday’s game marks the cut off point for the England international to reveal his intentions.

15 mins: It was Enner Valencia who breaks down the right side of the pitch and away from Gabriel, and from nowhere Koscielny dives in recklessly to clean him out. He launches into the tackle one-footed, but it's a scissor effort that catches Valencia horribly on the ankle and the crowd gasps. Referee Michael Oliver runs over and immediately goes to his back pocket, producing the red card, and after remaining on the pitch to check on Valencia - who is ok after treatment - he leaves to a round of applause - perhaps not knowing that he's out of the final.
21 mins: That's lifted Everton in confidence, and Mirallas finds Lukaku on the edge of the area and he flashes a first-time effort towards goal that just rises over the bar. The offside flag is raised though and it wouldn't have counted anyway.
22 mins: Arsenal have switched to a back four now, which isn't a surprise, but what is a surprise is that Danny Welbeck has moved to left wing and Alexis has shifted to the striker role. Meanwhile, Ross Barkley is warming up quite early, and he may be coming on sooner rather than later.
23 mins: Sanchez has an effort at goal from outside the area, but as he shoots he's caught by Gueye and wins a free-kick. He takes it, but it catches the top of the wall and deflects for a corner. Barkley is coming on by the way, as he's stripped off and standing by.
25 mins: Substitution for Everton, and it's a tactical one, not an injury. Tom Davies comes off with Ross Barkley on, and the young midfielder has really paid the price for that error before the Arsenal goal.
27 mins: It's Alexis Sanchez who doubles the lead for the 10-man side. Sanchez has a shot from about 30-yards out, and it cannons into Welbeck in front of him. Welbeck beats Joel to the ball but has his back to the goal, and he swivels before playing in an unmarked Alexis to tap in from close range, with the Everton defence fast asleep as they believed it was offside. I've got news for them, it wasn't and it's 2-0.
30 mins: As things stand, Arsenal are finishing in the top four, as it's 0-0 at nfield. There's a long way to go though!
32 mins: Holgate fouls Welbeck on the edge of the area and it's a petulant kick out after losing the ball. It allows Sanchez to curl in a ball that Joel comes to collect, and he holds on well.
