Middlesbrough vs Tottenham LIVE: FA Cup fifth round result, final score and reaction tonight

Kick off: 15 minutes to play before penalties. Lee Peltier replaces Paddy McNair for Middlesbrough and Sergio Reguilon is on for Dejan Kulusevski for Spurs.

105+1 mins: Kulusevski brings the ball down the right side and darts into the box before picking out Son inside the six-yard area. He backheels a shot at goal but somehow Lumley keeps it out right on the line.

After a dull 90 minutes the first half of extra-time kicked the game into life and it’s very surprising that the match is still goalless.

105 mins: Middlesbrough are hammering on the door now. Howson laces an effort high and wide from range before Jones swings a cross in from the right and picks out Tavernier at the back post. He hits a first time shot at goal but is denied by the outstretched leg of Lloris!

102 mins: Lovely play from Middlesbrough to work the ball into the Tottenham final third. They slot the ball quickly across the pitch and give it Bola who carries it into the left side of the box. His shot is pulled into the centre of the area and rolls out to Coburn. He slides a pass into the six-yard box but a lunging Crooks can’t reach the ball and Lloris gets low to smother it.

99 mins: Isaiah Jones and Ben Davies tussle on Tottenham’s left side deep in Middlesbrough’s half. Jones shoves Davies off the ball and kicks it against him winning the home side a goal kick.

Paddy McNair has gone down off the ball but it seems to just be a breather as he’s quickly back onto his feet and signalling to the dugout that he’s okay to play on.

96 mins: Josh Coburn and Marc Bola are brought on by Chris Wilder to give Middlesbrough some fresh legs up top. Andraz Sporar and Neil Taylor are the two men replaced.

93 mins: Tottenham flick the ball into the box and it drops nicely for Son who keeps himself onside. He tries to hit the ball on the volley as it comes over his left shoulder but he misses his kick and Lumley scoops it up.

Howson the drives the ball down the right wing for Middlesbrough and picks out Balogun in the box with a cross. Balogun whips a header towards goal but puts the effort straight into the hands of Lloris.

Kick off: Dejan Kulusevski kicks off extra-time for Tottenham. Another 30 minutes to play to decide who reaches the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Spurs work the ball into the final third and pass it up to Kane. He lays the ball off to Kulusevski who darts in from the left and drills a low shot at Lumley but the goalkeeper pushes it wide!

90+3 mins: No late drama at the Riverside Stadium and this FA Cup fifth round tie is heading to extra-time.

90 mins: Jonny Howson has a great chance to win it for Boro! He meets a corner umarked in the box but nods his headed effort wide of the back post!
