Tottenham have made the biggest splash of the window so far with club record signing Tanguy Ndombele following Leeds' Jack Clarke through the door in north London as Mauricio Pochettino looks to rebuild his Champions League finalists. The summer transfer window closes in the Premier League on Thursday 8 August.
The Sun has reported that Newcastle United have made contact with Belgium manager Roberto Martinez over the possibility of taking over the vacant manager's role at St. James' Park.
The former Everton and Swansea boss has been in charge of the Belgian national team since 2016 and led his side to a third place finish at the 2018 World Cup.
Newcastle failed to agree terms on a new contract with former manager Rafa Benitez and as a result he left to join Chinese club Dalian Yifang.
More on Manchester City's decision to activate Rodri's release clause after they paid £63m to release him from his contract.
West Ham are set to launch a player-plus cash deal to bring West Brom striker Salomon Rondon to the London Stadium, according to Football League World.
The Hammers will offer West Brom £14m, plus full-back Sam Byram, who was signed by current Baggies boss Slaven Bilic during his time in charge at West Ham.
Rondon spent last season on-loan at Newcastle where he scored 12 goals in all competitions. The departure of Rafa Benitez and owner Mike Ashley's unwillingness to spend has meant West Ham are in pole position to sign the 29-year-old Venezuelan.
Wilfried Zaha has spoken out about his Crystal Palace future after a £40m bid from Arsenal was rejected for the Ivorian.
Speaking at the Africa Cup of Nations, Zaha was coy on his future and instead spoke about his focus on winning the tournament with the Ivory Coast.
Zaha said: "I have no comment on it, the only thing that's on my mind now is trying to win this cup. I'm fixated on is how far we go in the tournament."
Manchester City are close to re-signing left-back Angelino from PSV Eindhoven.
The Spain Under-21 international left City last year but the Premier League champions are set to activate a £5.3m buy-back clause in his contract at the Dutch club.
Manager Pep Guardiola is keen to bring in cover in the position.
Benjamin Mendy has been plagued by injuries since his £49.1m move to City in 2017 and neither Oleksandr Zinchenko nor Fabian Delph - two others to have played left-back - are specialists.
Mario Pasalic has agreed a new deal to extend his stay at Chelsea until 2022.
The 24-year-old midfielder will, however, return straight away on loan to Atalanta for a second consecutive season.
Last year, the Croatia international represented the Italian side on 42 occasions, helping them secure their best Serie A finish of third. He scored eight times.
Pasalic joined Chelsea from Hajduk Split in 2014, before being sent on loan to Elche, Monaco, AC Milan, Spartak Moscow and Atalanta.
He has also played 10 times for Croatia, featuring in their recent European Championship qualifying double-header against Wales and Tunisia. (PA)
